This 1969 Chevelle SS 396 had recently been repainted, sanded and polished. The owner was about to show it to a potential buyer and wanted to have the paint polished to facilitate the sale. Overall the paint was in decent shape, but light to moderate marring was present across most of the body, and the hood needed to be level further to bring out crisp and clear reflections. The goal with this detail was to reduce the marring, create more depth in the paint and level the hood. To accomplish this the body was polished with the Italian-made long stroke Rupes dual action polishers, HD speed and Lake Country foam finishing pads.
