This 2009 CLK 550 AMG was actually in decent shape to begin with, the owner knew how to properly wash it so marring was minimal, and the paint had been protected by Rejex so contamination wasn’t awful. The owner was mainly looking to have the paint decontaminated, lightly polished and protected and the interior cleaned. The exterior received a thorough wash and decontamination plus a light polishing via the Rupes 21 polisher & HD Speed, Optiseal was added as a final step to increase protection. The interior was vacuumed and dry brushed to remove embedded dirt from the carpets and all crevices, then each surface was meticulously cleaned with Optimum Power Clean and various horse and boar’s hair brushes. 1Z Cockpit Premium was used to protect the interior plastics while keeping a matte finish, Leather Masters’ Vital and Protection Cream were used to make the leather supple and protected.
